Rick Berks started YouFit Health Clubs with the goal of creating a gym network with a pleasant atmosphere. Berks co-founded Planet Fitness in South Florida two decades ago, and he previously owned a Gold's Gym franchise. After a falling out with a group of franchisees, he started his own business in St. Petersburg, Florida, in 2008.

Since then, the company has expanded to over a hundred locations around the country. Berks expanded his business by sticking to the fundamentals, such as aerobic equipment, free weights, and training machines.

Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia are currently home to their gyms. FEES FOR MEMBERSHIP

The fees for the Standard plan are subject to change. The cheapest rate is $10, but this may not be applicable in all areas. The basic charge varies each facility and might be as low as $10 or as high as $15. The payment made on the initial day of registration differs from the monthly payment that is made on a regular basis. There is also a yearly fee, which varies by location.

There are two types of YouFit plans: Standard and Lime Card. You will get unlimited access to a single club if you sign up for the Standard month-to-month membership. A YouCoach Fitness Assessment will also be given to you.

However, if you join up for a month-to-month Lime Card membership, you'll enjoy unlimited access to all locations, unlimited guest rights, a YouCoach Fitness Assessment, a fixed rate, unlimited guest privileges, and only pay half price for drinks.

You must be 18 years old or older to acquire a free visitor pass, and you must be able to show one local ID with a photo. Please keep in mind that you can only use this once a year. If you wish to participate in group classes, you may have to pay additional expenses.
